Merry Christmas to everyone from everyone here at GoPlay Games. We’ve filled up our mugs with egg nog, and we’re letting the yule tide flow. To install these wallpapers, just visit the link to view the full size image. Save the image to your computer. Link the containing folder from iTunes and allow your iPhone to use pictures from this folder. Now sync your phone. Once the new pictures are on your phone, you can select any of them to be your wallpaper.

Popple is a game that will challenge your speed, reflexes, and memory. The goal is simple, survive! Do not let the curtain close! The falling bubbles need to be popped in the correct order displayed at the top of the screen to slightly raise the curtain. The sequence will change randomly so stay alert! With each correct sequence pop, your score multiplier increases, so accuracy is key. Popple hits home for anyone who likes fast paced, easy to learn, arcade or puzzle games. Popple release party!

Party time! I had an absolute blast last night at the release party. There has been a lot of ups and downs for our small start up, but this has definitely been the best way to kick things off. Have to thank Baja Sharkeez in Newport Beach for hosting all of our friends.

It was just good for me to take a breath and know that things are coming around. There has been a lot of uncertainty, did I do the right thing making a start up instead of seeking full time employment, how long would my money last etc… I cant begin to tell you how much I appreciated every good congratulatory handshake, and pat on the back from everyone who did. One of my former bosses from Obsidian was in attendance and he had great things to say and wished us well also. Last I just want to thank God for the infinite grace and mercy he continues to show for me. Alright, time to go back to work, have a “new” game to finish up so we can “announce” it.

Last night at Sharkeez in Newport Beach, GoPlay celebrated the announcement of Popple‘s release date. On June 10th, iPhone gamers the world over will be able to download our first completed iPhone game Popple. GoPlay Games would like thank everyone in attendance and all of our many supporters. We hope you have as much fun playing it as we did developing it.

What is Goplay Games? – Goplay Games is a new company focusing solely on Apple iPhone game development. Started by Larry Charles and Michael Dehen, Goplay Games seeks to become a leading developer for iPhone Games.

What is Popple? – Popple is a fast paced bubble popping game which tests your memory and hand eye coordination. We have been working on Popple for over a month now and it is turning out to be a great success. Right now we are fine tuning the speeds and play testing to ensure it’s just right before it is released.

Why iPhone Games? – The iPhone and iPod touch are pretty serious pieces of hardware. Apple has established a trend setting reputation for all of their products. With over 100 million users in 30 countries world wide, that all get their software from one single location, how could we not?

Ex Obsidian employees start GoPlay Games

Larry Charles Jr and Michael Dehen left Obsidian Entertainment and formed GoPlay Games, LLC. GoPlay Games is focused on creating simple, unique, and innovative games for the Apple iPhone and iPod Touch. GoPlay Games is based in Irvine, CA and is developing their first iPhone game, Popple.
